NEW Server Key and Bugs Fixed

We went down today June 22, 2012 for a few hours to do some mandatory maintenance. We reconfigured our load balancer to efficiently distribute the load through servers. We also fixed an issue with wolframalpha requests and weather requests. We do have an updated URL and certificate for everyone. Please follow the instructions below:

If i4Siri package is already installed:

  1. Open Cydia.
  2. Open changes. Upgrade i4Siri.
  3. Open settings, then i4Siri settings, Click install certificate.

If i4Siri Package is not installed:

  1. Open Cydia.
  2. Go to Manage, Sources, Edit, Add, Type the following URL: http://i4siri.com/repo
  3. Install i4Siri.
  4. Open settings, then i4Siri settings, Click install certificate.

Please let us know of any issues. If you enjoy using i4Siri on a daily basis please consider donating. Server and API keys cost a lot.

    • Gighen says:

Same here, it’s not working :( I updated, changed the certificate, changed the URL, try to ask something and after a lot of thinking she says she’s sorry but she cannot handle any request :( :(

  18. Julien says:

For those who can’t make siri working on ios 5.1.1, unistall all i4siri related packages (But keep i4siri repo, of course). Then, get Spite 3.0.1 Unthedered on this repo: http://cydia.iphonetweak.fr/. Then reboot your device. Once rebooted, open up safari and go get the certificate here :

    http://i4siri.com/installcertificate.html.

Reboot your device and try siri. Worked perfectly for me, installed yesterday!.

Don’t forget to hit the DONATE button to keep i4siri’s servers running!

  19. Test says:

Omg ffs can someone just post the goddam URL. More than Half of the people are asking about it. Maybe next time you should post the fucking URL in the post?! Newsflash the i4siri package doesn’t change the URL for a number of people. Is it really that hard to type in the URL in the post???

  23. Gighen says:

Hello… any news? After upgrading Siri is not working anymore… I use http://t.co/jtgHX1ue as Spire proxy, but when I ask something, she thinks a few seconds and then she says she can’t take requests…. HELP :( :(:(

  24. Mathew says:

All I ever get from I4siri is sorry I can’t help you right now, and then if it ever does connect it only lasts for the few minutes you use it and then it takes two days of Hello siri, to get it to work again. There are other free servers that work just as well yet instantly, not after two days of spamming the server.

  25. Zotyinger says:

    Hi Mathew!

Which server do you use??? What’s the proxy name??

    Thanks

  26. Zotyinger says:

    It’s working!!! :D

  27. Zotyinger says:

I said that “hi siri” many times after each other (10x) Once siri said “hello”.

    Hi

I’m on 5.1.1 with spite 3.0.1 only basic command seem to work (hello, time, weather, note ).

I’m in france, any Idea to get more ?

    Thanks for your help

  30. Tom says:

All I get is a message when trying to install is “NOTE: the requested modification cannot be applied due to required dependencies or conflicts that cannot be automatically found or fixed” and under that I have “continue queuing” after hitting this I have left it over night thinking that it may be high volumes of downloads, but to honest I’m sure that 9 hours of waiting is more then enough time to have a open slot to download the file!!!!

    I have a i4 running 5.1.1
Jb all up to date, so can’t think why it’s not working????? Also it’s saying that the status or i4siri is up and running?
Any help will be great thank you for you time to read and/or response :) much love.

    • Tom says:

  34. Cameron says:

You guys are wasting your time. These people do not care about us.

  35. jpisare says:

Reposting this in case it helps:

I finally got it working for me, here’s what I did (after uninstalling all Siri-related packages except repos):

Cydia > add SiriPort repo: repo.siriport.ru/
    > add i4Siri repo: i4siri.com/repo/

    Reboot (probably unnecessary but whatever)

Cydia > Install SiriPort (Original) from SiriPort repo
    Reboot

Settings > SiriPort > install cert
    Reboot

    Cydia > install i4Siri Non-Spire from i4Siri repo
    Reboot

    Settings > i4Siri > install cert
    Reboot

Launched Siri and said “Hi”. Worked first try. Now I don’t know if I got lucky or what, but we’ll see if it continues to work going forward. Hopefully this will help you guys.

  36. PissedOffUser says:
